Many people wake up in their mid-50s and are shocked to realize that 60… 70…80… are in their clear horizon.
So, they roll up their sleeves and write a list of things to start taking good care of themselves.
Yet, after few days of drive, motivation and passion, they realize that old habits are much stronger than the aftershock insights they temporarily had, which encourage them to make significant changes in their life journey.
We all wish to stay young forever, because being young in associated with being healthy, vital and having endless opportunities and possibilities to fulfill our dreams. When we are young, time is not a factor.
So, the wakeup calls for change in mid-50s could also occur in mid-40s or in mid-60s, but I encourage you to make changes and climb the ladder of wellness-health-wellbeing the sooner, the better.
IT HAS TO DO WITH AWARENESS OF REALIZING THAT WE ARE THE MANAGERS OF OUR 100 TRILLION CELLS.
Imagine you are the manager and a owner of a kindergarten and your cells are your pupils. After all, they are the living units which together, consist - the whole living being of YOU.
You need to:
Nourish them with healthy ingredients to support their physical and mental growth.
Implement programs for rest & sleep.
Initiate activities of body movement.
Keep the harmony, environment and atmosphere so that each individual gets attention and love. (otherwise, cells /pupils have tendencies to demand attention in a violent and unhealthy way)
Create healthy social and physical echo system of collaboration, communication and care.
Make sure that they develop and manifest healthy and balanced their inner capacity.
Make sure to boost the bond between wellness-health-wellbeing to optimize the success of your space.

It makes so much sense, so why isn’t this approach taught starting in elementary school and on to college?
Could it be that the western medicine caused our self-care approach to be passive?

Perception – selfcare management is a perception of you being in charge of your self. – Consult experts yes! Yet, get second or third opinion from a multidisciplinary expert. Receive data, information, knowledge and integrate them into wisdom for decision making of adopting positive habits.
Lastly, the approach of being young forever has to do with – exploring and answering the basic important questions of life?

Everything is connected – realizing that thoughts, emotions, sensations, memories, imagination and belief system influence each other and impact the 100 trillion cells
Reality is complex, wide and dynamic and we never see the whole picture. Therefore, its beneficial to adopt integrative approach and dialogue in a multidisciplinary way with different types of people, and different approaches to life.
Positive changes can take place if you believe that you are the manager, conductor, director, script writer and designer of your life. Changes in life occur endlessly, you can wait and react, or you can initiate changes that benefit you.
