Hi, my name is Avigail Berg-Panitz.

I'm a social entrepreneur and wellness expert. I am, also a holistic and integrative therapist and a healer.

I'm not a dietician , so why would I bother to write about food?

So many experts on food write about the best diet recipes, and some medical doctors advise what to eat, what not to eat, and how to mix the food you eat in order to be healthy.

The reason is, my pragmatic approach of replacing bad habits with better habits.

​

The challenge with food, is the fact that we do need to eat daily, and its one of our pleasures in life. So, every day we insert food into our mouth, it strengthens the emotional habit or the conditioning between of eating and the mood we are in.

There is a cycle that is hard to break - when food becomes a compensation for frustration, anger or deprivation of love.

If we feed our bodymind with  the wrong food on a continuous basis, we will damage our health, wellness and well-being. It will strengthen the conditioning of bodymind to crave that  bad food.

How to replace  bad eating habits with better ones:

For the next 7 days, write what you ate in your calendar, daily.

Start a journal in a real notebook and write:

- 5 vegetables i like to eat

- 5 fruits i like to eat

Make sure you always have available the following: flat bread, oat meal, onions, apple vinegar, Tahini, mineral water, soda water, pepper, raisins,   green tea, cinnamon, turmeric, lemons, garlic, celery, apples, nuts, apple sauce, plain yogurt
